This is an album about humanity. About compassion in a time when indifference too often speaks louder than kindness.
Across thirteen songs, it tells stories of children and older people, of friendship and forgiveness, of courage, responsibility, and hope. Rather than offering easy answers, these songs invite reflection through quiet moments and ordinary lives.
Charlie Chaplin becomes the album’s guiding symbol: a reminder of the dignity of the ordinary person, of humor without cruelty, and of the simple but enduring truth that we should laugh with one another, never at one another.

A note from Ken
As a child, I was deeply influenced by the songs of the German humanist songwriter Gerhard Schöne. His quiet, thoughtful storytelling showed me that life's biggest questions are often found in its smallest moments.
With this album, I wanted to reinterpret the humanistic spirit of those songs for a new time. These are not translations, but entirely new and independent works inspired by the same belief in compassion, dignity, and hope.
I believe that quiet, thoughtful voices are too easily drowned out by the noise of today's world. This album is my attempt to let those voices be heard again.
